Where are you based?
I’m based in The Woodlands. I’m available in the greater Houston area and surrounding cities. I’m also available to travel out-of-state and internationally.
What is your shooting style?
I generally let things happen. The photojournalistic style captures more of the raw and genuine emotions during your wedding and I strive to document all of that. This is what makes your wedding unique. This is what makes it yours. However, I offer some posing encouragement here and there when needed just to add that little touch of signature art. And during formals, I get really creative!
What is an E-Session?
An engagement session is the perfect time to capture you both in a more relaxed, laid-back, and romantic setting outside the formality (and craziness) of a wedding! Pictures from an e-session can be used for guest sign-in books and enlargements to display at your wedding. One of the most important reasons is it’s a GREAT opportunity for you to be comfortable with your photographer. It’s equally great for me, too! It’s a “get to know you session.” That way, we’re bff’s come wedding day!
Do you offer “All-Day” coverage?
Yes. All-day photography coverage starts from the earliest activity, such as brunch with the ladies, or hitting the golf range with the guys, until midnight – when everybody’s exhausted.
Who is photographing my wedding?
Me, Angel. I will always be the primary photographer. I have a trusted group of fellow professional photographers who second shoot with me.
What equipment do you use and do you carry backups?
I only use the most robust and capable professional camera systems suitable to wedding photography. I combine that with professional lenses that are excellent in low-light. I also use multiple flashes to achieve the perfect lighting. All of my critical equipment have duplicate backups. Always.
How many photos will we receive?
Quality is supreme. I won’t be taking pictures, but I will create photos. Instead of a mountain of snapshots, you will get a cohesive collection of artistic images. You can expect at least 600 in this “cohesive collection of artistic images.”
Do you photoshop the images to make them pretty?
My processing is carefully done to stay true and consistent with my style. My images are clean, balanced, and genuine. All the dramatic lighting and effects that define the beauty of the photo is executed in-camera while shooting. I am a photographer first and a photoshop guru second – if that. I work hard on creating an image that speaks for itself without the aid of gimmicky photoshop textures. You will never see me use outdated trends like a colored bouquet against a black and white picture. While these powerful two-second tools are widely available today, I devote myself to taking excellent images to begin with before I ever apply digital enhancements. But of course, I smooth out skin and erase wrinkles!
When can we expect to receive the disc and can we print photos with it?
After color and skin tone corrections, you will receive the DVD of hi-resolution image files in about 4 weeks. It comes with a perpetual personal printing release. Meaning, you can print however many times you want, as big as you want!
How long does it take before we receive the album?
As an heirloom item to be passed on to future generations, careful work is applied when creating your album. The same file from your image disc is further enhanced to achieve impeccable image quality. These fully edited copies of your photos are then designed and applied to your album. You can review them and revisions can be done when necessary. After the design process is done, you will receive your gorgeous, leather, heirloom book in about 8 weeks.
What are the quality of your prints and canvas wraps?
They are the best. I use professional photographic services, not open to the public, who give the same attention to detail as I do. Before I send them the master files to print, I hand-apply corrections and touch-ups to the photo. This guarantees that every print will look its best when you display them in your home.
What are gallery weblink cards?
Weblink cards are personalized cards that contain information for your guests so they can access your wedding photos online later. I’ve been to weddings as a guest and I found it rather frustrating to not know where to find the pictures! This makes it easy, and your guests will appreciate them!
What is a photo booth?
A photo booth is an excellent way to entertain your guests. Your guests will go crazy stepping into the booth to pose, act goofy, and see an instant preview on an HDTV screen in real time. It’s an opportunity to make you remember them in their own fun way. Best of all, these files go up on your online gallery pretty quick. Using the information from the gallery cards, your family and friends will enjoy the photos in 48 hours. All we need is an 8-foot by 8-foot space. We set it up and leave it. It’s all self-operational using a foot pedal placed right where your guests pose.
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes. If your venue requests proof, I will contact them personally to accommodate their requirements.
What types of payment do you take?
I accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Amex, Discover. You can also pay conveniently and securely online using Paypal.
How do we book you?
We can set up a meeting so we can get to know each other and give you the opportunity to look at some sample albums and ask me as many questions as you want. A retainer of $1000 and a signed agreement will book your wedding day – SOLID!
