Let me share with you a wedding that I really enjoyed shooting. Morgan and Steven are a fabulous couple who both grew up in The Woodlands. They went to school here, got engaged here, and finally tying the knot… home. By the way you should look at their engagement photos thru this link: http://www.angel-cruz.com/2012/04/morgansteven-engaged-woodlands-engagement-photos/
Beautiful e-session, right? Ah, but let me tell you about the wedding. Morgan has such loving parents. I can tell. I remember them showing up at the e-session and bridal for a few minutes, but didn’t stay longer because they wanted to make sure she knows it was her day. That was important to them. Then Morgan turns around to pull a little sign she made that said “Forever your little girl” and had me take a photo of her holding it up. She planned on giving it as a present for Christmas, which was a few days following her December wedding. Her parents are the sweetest.
Morgan was surrounded by her college and high school friends, and Steven an entire baseball team. No kidding. Steven pitched in the college level and in the Minor Leagues. Needless to say I almost lost my voice after getting everybody together for a wedding party shot. haha. Moving on to the reception. The newlyweds hired pretty much one of the most awesome live bands I’ve seen. The lead singer for a while I thought was generally a country singer. Then as the night progressed and the dance floor was full, they broke into a rap song and this guy flowwwed – without stumbling or missing a beat. I wish you were there to see it coz it was impressive! After that people just kept dancing, and dancing, and had loads of fun.
This beautiful night ended with Morgan and Steven being whisked away in a lovely white carriage. A fairy tale end to a fairy tale story.
Ceremony held at The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
Reception at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
Special thanks to Andrei Ajero who helped me photograph the couple’s most special day. Some of his shots are seen here.
