Oh, man.. this is a good one. Allana and Matt got married at Red Corral Ranch in Wimberley, Texas. What struck me the most was how it felt more like a big family celebration in which their wedding was the highlight. Everybody was relaxing, chatting up, and spending some quality time with family. It was a no stress, let’s-enjoy-this-day kinda wedding. But as boys do, the guys disappeared somewhere without really telling anybody! After a nervous phone call finally went through in the reception-shy hill country, turns out everything was okay! Whew!
So, we continued on with Allana and Matt’s rustic hill country wedding. Red Corral Ranch is a beautiful venue between San Antonio and Austin. It features hilly terrain, traditional cabins, a large fire pit, and an iconic big red barn where most receptions are held. Allana adorned her wedding with great rustic details like old frames, mason jars, and wedding photos of their parents and relatives. The reception was full of energy with great music, lots of dancing (and everybody was dancing) and a last-minute visit from an unexpected guest – don’t worry, standard procedure! All in all, everybody had a great time which was topped off with a sparkler sendoff to a waiting pickup truck! I love southern brides!!! Allana and Matt, thank you so much for letting me be a part of such a great occasion. Your family was wonderful.
