Whoa… First of all, lemme just say that this e-session with Stefanie and Daniel was a ton of fun. We set out to Plantersville, a town northwest of The Woodlands and did their shoot at her grandparent’s ranch. We started just before sunset, so the pictures are golden! This place was pretty wide with a pond, a large field, a big barn, windmill, geese, longhorns, you name anything country and awesome and it had it! Okay, so here’s what happened. There are two spots on the property. The other spot required a ride in the ATV. It was a two-seater, so I squatted on the back cargo bed. The shot-opportunist that I am, I thought I’d take one of them riding… to see what I get. After taking maybe two or three shots while trying not to fall, all of a sudden… FOOOOM! My head flung backwards! The sunglasses I had on was now crooked and is on the back of my head, and I was struggling to regain my balance! I looked behind us and there it was, a low hanging tree branch. haha! Daniel asked yelling over the loud motor, “What happened?” After picking out some tree bark from between my teeth, I said smiling, “Nothing, a branch hit my face!” Then Stefanie, holding on to her hair, asked Daniel, “What happened?” I don’t think she heard him because the motor was too loud and we kept going.

I was alright, though. So, I ducked the next two branches and we went on with our session. I live on the edge!
